Books can help start conversations and give information to adults and kids. Below is a list of useful books for talking to children about their bodies and boundaries, and for parents to understand natural and healthy child sexual behaviors. We also include reading questions below to help start conversations with your family.  If you plan on reading with children, make sure to read through the book ahead of time to determine if it will be a good fit. Not all books will be at this moment, and that’s okay.

We’re always interested in learning about new and inclusive books! If you have suggestions for additional books, or comments about current books on the list, please contact info@mecasa.org.
